Yesterday was my last day as a Physical Education teacher. I am moving on to a new career field. The last 5 years was such an amazing experience, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. The Administration, staff, students, and parents in the Northwestern district were amazing to work with and have fun with. The video link above is a little peak into the fun of our last day. I didn't coordinate or do anything with the preparation, but I did participate. Back row in black and white shirt!!! Love that group of people*~

Fitness Testing for the semester
Since the beginning of school, students have been working on their skills testing, practicing each day in the areas of cardiovascular endurance, upper body strength, and core strength. While the majority of the 230 points in my physical education class are based on participation, behavior, and attitude, there is a component of testing. This is just one of the components that students are graded on. Overall, their fitness testing is just over 10% of their total semester grade. Almost 90% is based on Participation and Behavior. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. I base the figuring of my scores on the standard of the Presidential Fitness Testing results.
